The Cross-Cultural Leadership Center values and respects the richness and understanding that diversity brings. The Center exists to create an environment in which all students, regardless of their ethnicity, culture, or differences, feel respected, connected, and affirmed. Through a holistic approach of leadership development, cultural awareness, community education, and the creation of a constructive social change, we aspire to create transformational opportunities between and for all people that fosters community engagement.

How will donations be used?
$20 - To Sponsor a Student to attend the Annual Diversity Summit
$50 - To Stock Snacks for our Student Users
$100 - For Activity Supplies for Diversity Summit
Support the Cross-Cultural Leadership Center!
The CCLC is the home away from home for our Diverse Students. We help develop Community, Identity Exploration, Transformational Leadership opportunities and Cultural Competency. CCLC in collaboration with other departments, put on all the Cultural Programming on Campus.
Why are donations necessary?
Students benefit from your donations directly. With the funds raised it enables CCLC to put on many different Community Building Events, and Sense of belonging shows up in the student's lives differently. They do better in school, their GPAs are higher and their sense of belonging at Chico State strengthens.
Your donation will also help offset the cost to host our annual three day Diversity Summit in the Fall. These three days center on relationship-building across cross-cultural communities and feature an in-depth exploration of the issues facing diverse students today. The CCLC Diversity Summit has always been a unique and life-changing experience for all in attendance. It is also one of our office’s most effective and successful programs for retaining and integrating new students into Chico State’s campus community.
