The Center for Technology Equity aims to address technology equity gaps on campus by providing students with access to valuable technology resources which are paramount to their academic success. This year, our program will continue to provide access to a comprehensive technology ecosystem for all students including affordable high-speed internet, reliable computer devices, and training geared towards digital self-sufficiency in support of their academic activities in and out of the classroom. We intend to increase our technology offerings for students to include more specialized equipment that is a requirement of many course offerings to provide students with access to the most relevant technology tools on campus.

Support Tech Equity
The Center for Technology Equity has ambitions to make Chico State a leading university in addressing technology equity and digital literacy. The Center for Technology Equity assists in addressing these equity gaps on campus by supplying students with access to valuable technology resources to enhance academic success with a comprehensive technology lending ecosystem, drop-in training services, and training events for the campus community centered around increasing digital literacy. Our program will continue to expand upon our comprehensive technology ecosystem for students by scaling our offerings for affordable high-speed internet, reliable computer devices, and training geared towards digital self-sufficiency in support of their academic activities in and out of the classroom. We intend to amplify our tech lending offerings for students to include more specialized equipment that is a requirement of many course offerings to provide students with access to the most relevant technology tools on campus.
Why are donations necessary?
Our program's resource offerings for students largely depend on the continued support of our community and our campus. With increased funding, our Center can extend greater technology offerings and provide richer support resources for students. The high costs of technology resources which are paramount to student success in classes pose challenges for many students. Based upon the feedback of students who have visited our Center, we are aware that our offerings must be expanded upon to provide students greater options for different use cases and needs. Your donation can make a direct impact in supplying students for years to come with access to camera equipment, interactive tablets, and specialized calculators to support their learning in courses in which technology is central.
