The Livestock Judging Team continues to compete at the highest level against colleges from across the nation bringing notoriety to not only the College of Agriculture but to Chico State and our alumni as a whole.

How will donations be used?

Donations will be used to fund entry fees, bus rentals, meals, lodging, and supplies.

Support the Livestock Judging Team!

Students who participate in the Livestock Judging Team will enhance their livestock evaluation skills, public speaking, and have the opportunity to see livestock operations across the United States. Students participating on our competitive teams promote the development of 21st Century job skills, including problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, creativity, leadership, and adaptability. Students work as individuals and in groups, building work ethic and collaboration. The College of Agriculture is recognized at state, regional, and national levels for fielding successful, competitive teams.

Why are donations necessary?

Every gift, no matter the size, helps the Livestock Judging Team continue to compete against teams across the country and excel in the animal agriculture industry while building confidence, technical expertise, and professional networks among our students.
