About the CCD

The CCD is a vital component of the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program (CMSD), operating as a training clinic for students in the CMSD graduate program under the supervision of master clinicians in the field of speech-language pathology. Under such supervision, student clinicians have the opportunity to work with individuals across the lifespan who present with a range of communication abilities and impairments. Beyond clinical education, the CCD is committed to serving the community by providing over 1,000 hours of FREE evaluations and intervention each semester. All donations directly support the daily and ongoing operations of the clinic, which contribute to successful student training, client outcomes, and free speech and language therapy services for the North State community.

What We've Done

After another successful year of fundraising last year, the CCD was able to continue upgrading interior spaces. We installed new lobby furniture, student workroom stools, therapy room seating, pediatric tables and chairs, and wheelchair-friendly workstations.

Thank You

Thank you to our generous donors who have supported us over the past three years. We have overcome many obstacles due to the COVID-19 pandemic without compromising our services or education. We are stronger than ever and are proud to continue our mission to provide excellent education and free therapy to our community.

Why are donations necessary?

The CCD continues to offer free services and is sustained by donations alone. This year, we are seeking donations to continue revitalizing clinic spaces. The projects we pursue will be dependent on fundraising efforts and may include: upgrades to our student materials room and conference spaces, art for therapy rooms, and exterior landscaping improvements.

Thanks To Our Recent Donors!
