How will donations be used?
In the College of ECC, our fundraising priorities are thoughtfully aligned with the four key initiatives of our strategic plan: 1. Provide a student-centered experience focused on academic excellence: We want to ensure that students thrive in their scholastic journey by providing educational, networking, and community-building events, all contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our institution. 2. Provide a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for historically underserved and first-generation students: Funding for our EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) efforts is crucial to implement comprehensive initiatives, foster inclusivity, and provide the necessary resources and support systems essential for creating an equitable and diverse environment within our institution. 3. Connect to both our industry and our community to foster engagement: We are working to re-establish our Industry Leadership Council, aiming to connect with the industry and alumni community to create meaningful partnerships. These partnerships can bring job opportunities for our students and provide valuable input from industry professionals to benefit both our College and the broader community. 4. Promote a culture of transformative scholarship, research, and creative activity: Our efforts to raise funds aim to promote a culture of transformative scholarship, research, and creative activity. This encompasses supporting research symposiums, travel to conferences, journal articles, and various initiatives that not only contribute to academic excellence but also empower our faculty and students to represent us effectively in their respective fields.
Our College
