What is DSIC?
The Dairy Science and Industry Club is dedicated to fostering educational, promotional, and service oriented activities within the dairy industry. We meet monthly, host guest speakers, go on industry tours, attend conferences, and advocate for young professionals. Our mission is to cultivate future leaders by building strong industry connections and welcoming students from all backgrounds to participate. The club works directly with the Chico State Organic Dairy Unit, with many of the officers also being student employees. Chico State is the only organic dairy unit on a college campus in California, making the Dairy Science and Industry Club the only student organization with a focus on organic dairy production. This provides students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with organic dairy practices, setting them apart in the industry.
