Description
The Data Science Club is a student-led group focused on demystifying the complex and wonderful world of data science and data analytics. By competing in datathons, connecting students with others fascinated by data, and reviewing popular tools used by data scientists we’ll help equip students with the fundamentals necessary to land a career in data science. Moreover, our strong relationship with the Data Science Initiative at Chico State has allowed us to help connect students with data professionals and with internship opportunities.

Suppor the Data Science Club!
The Data Science Club has connections with faculty who are happy to connect with students interested in the space. This includes getting them internships, preparing them for datathons, and otherwise promoting equity within the Data Science community.
Why are donations necessary?
This is a new club that does not have any existing funds to support club activities or obtain branded materials such as a branded tablecloth for outreach events, printing flyers, and shirts. Anything helps as we build our presence on campus and do our best to provide students with opportunities to advance their skills in Data Science that they can proudly present to employers.
