Description
Expressions Dance Team is the official Chico State Dance Team, composed of 21 talented dancers. Expressions performs at many community and university events, including Wildcat Weekend, Parade of Lights, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, and other Chico State competitive sporting events. This will be the fourth year that Expressions will have the opportunity to compete in the USA Collegiate Championships in Anaheim, CA. In the spring semester, dancers can unleash their creativity by choreographing and performing in the annual Spring Showcase. Expressions Dance Team specializes in various genres of dance, including jazz, pom, hip-hop, contemporary and lyrical.
How will donations be used?
- $360 pays for backpacks for all Expressions members

covers a pair of poms for each member; $50 supplies sweatshirts for each
member

supplies our Nationals competition entry fee for an individual

pays for costumes for our end of the year showcase

Expressions brings together student-athletes who are passionate about dance and dedicate themselves to practices and performances. Through dancing, we strengthen our skills, develop socially and grow as leaders. We’re excited for the chance to compete again this year and look forward to expanding our team’s impact on the Chico State community.
