Description
The Native American Club is a student organization devoted to the preservation of Native American culture on the Chico State campus. In addition to promoting Native American cultures, we also meet bi-weekly where we make jewelry, play traditional hand games, go on cultural tours, play board games, go on hikes, paint canvases, and much more. We are an all inclusive club and are hoping to raise money in order to continue these activities/events.
How will donations be used?
Cultural events, food for club meetings, materials for club events (such as beads for jewelry, etc.), and stickers and shirts for club members/alumni.
Support the Native American Club!
We are an all-inclusive club that meets bi-weekly and is a welcoming safe space for not only Native American students but anybody who wishes to make friends. We are community based and thrive on helping our students make deeper connections to their culture as well as be a safe haven. We also stress the importance of higher education.
Why are donations necessary?
Your donation will help the Native American club continue on campus and provide a safe space for Native American students at Chico State. We will also use funds to feed club members, purchase supplies for events/fundraisers, and help our members access cultural resources.
