Only 1 out of 10 U.S. undergraduates study abroad before graduating. For many, this is due to financial barriers. Will you give to help more Chico State students access to the transformative experience of study abroad?
Your support can allow students like Humberto to embark on an experience of a lifetime. As a first-generation college student, Humberto's study abroad experience challenged him to overcome obstacles such as adapting to a new environment, culture, and language, and being far away from his family. Humberto discovered his strength and independence while studying International Relations in Italy, realizing that he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to, including his next challenge: law school.
How will donations be used?
- $30 will pay for a student’s application fee.
- $50 will pay for a significant portion of a student’s visa application.
- $145 will pay for a student’s passport application fees.
- $150 will pay for a student’s foreign travel insurance for participation in this program.
- $1,000 will pay for a student’s round-trip airfare for participation in the program.
- $2,500 will pay for half of the total program fees for one student to participate in a summer program.
- $3,500 will pay for half of the total program fees/tuition for one student to participate in a semester program.
- $5,000 will pay for full program fees for one student to participate in a summer program.
