Description
This is a distinguished, competitive club of athletes ranging from novices to National champs, whose expertise is in the 3-event sport of waterskiing. We travel the state, the western region, and the country competing against other collegiate waterski teams for individual and team titles. We own our own ski boat, and have the special privilege of using a private ski lake in Chico for practice. The club welcomes new members in the fall and spring semesters. When people join, they enter into a group of friends who will stay close for a lifetime, and share memories of amazing experiences together.
How will donations be used?
- $20 - 3 ski rides
- $100 - new ski binding
- $150 - wetsuit or jumpsuit
- $400 - boat maintenance
Support the Waterski Club!
Donations contribute to the many expenses we face each semester such as boat maintenance and boat gas to be able to practice, team equipment, lake maintenance, tournament fees, and the cost of traveling to tournaments to compete. Without the support of local businesses, friends, and family, we would not be able to provide the team with the opportunities that this sports club fosters.
Why are donations necessary?
This team is comprised of a group of students who love the sport of waterskiing, and many refer to time spent on the team as one of the best times in their lives. Water sports can be very costly and each semester we face many expenses. We are asking for your support of our team through a donation that will help us come back stronger than ever from Covid. We would like to greatly thank you for any support as we are very passionate about this team.
