We need your help to spread the word about Chico State Giving Day and lead us to our most successful year yet! On Wednesday, March 6, 2024 share stories and posts on social media to remind Chico State alumni and friends to join us during the best giving day of the year.

What can you do? Help out in whatever ways work for you! Here are some suggestions—do them all or pick your favorites to do a few times:

  • Donate any amount to the campaign of your choice ($5 minimum)
  • Post on Instagram about Giving Day using #CatsGiveBack
  • Tweet about Giving Day using #CatsGiveBack
  • Post on LinkedIn or Facebook about Giving Day using #CatsGiveBack
  • Share a Giving Day post from Chico State’s Facebook, LinkedIn, X, or Instagram
  • Recruit a friend to be a Giving Day Ambassador
  • Send an email to someone about Chico State Giving Day and why you give back
  • Call or text someone about Chico State Giving Day
  • Wear Chico State gear on March 6

The best social media posts use personal details that will help your friends, family, and colleagues relate to your passion for the cause—Is this something you experienced as a student or wished you had? Is this something that’s important to the success of future leaders in your industry? Share why YOU support this cause and invite others to join you.

Giving Day Ambassador Program

Sign Up

Fill out the ambassador form and select the area you would like to represent for Chico State Giving Day! A personalized link and ways to take action will be sent to you via email.

Share Your Link

Use the personalized link to spread the word to your networks before, on and after March 6! (We’ll count gifts until March 8.)

Earn Prizes

Win prizes for yourself and your favorite cause! The area that has the most gifts via personalized ambassador links receives $1,000 in additional funds!

All ambassadors who gather one or more gifts to any campaign using their unique link will be entered to win one of 10 Chico State license plate covers, and receive a Giving Day sticker and personal thank-you note! Each gift from your link counts as one entry to the drawing, so the more gifts you earn the more chances you have to win.

The two Ambassadors who bring in the most gifts and the most dollars will win our grand prize packs!
